The Uptown String Band has been parading in the annual Philadelphia New Year's Day Mummers Parade since 1938. The band has taken top honors in the parade in 1957, 1976 and 1977.

Four Leaf Clover
Uptown's rendition of the world renown song "I'm looking over a four leaf clover" sells over a million copies.

Memories
The band was originally located in North West Philadelphia for many wonderful years, until 1990, when it was brought further "uptown" from the city and into Bucks County.
